Could Nicolas Cage be a vampire? A Civil War era photo that bears an eerie resemblance to Cage has sparked rumors that the actor is a real-life vampire.

Cage has starred in “Vampire’s Kiss” and played a demonic role in “Ghost Rider.” For most, his connection to the bloodsucking species ends there. Not so for Jack Mord, an antiques dealer who got the rumor mill cooking when he posted a photograph for sale on eBay of a man he says is from Bristol, Tenn., around 1870, and he says can be no one else but Cage.

Mord believes Cage is a vampire who reinvents himself every 75 years or so.

“Personally, I believe it’s him and that he is some sort of walking undead/vampire, et cetera, who quickens/reinvents himself once every 75 years or so,” he wrote in the post, which has since been removed. “150 years from now, he might be a politician, the leader of a cult, or a talk show host.”

Mord claims that the supposedly 47-year-old actor looks virtually unchanged since his first big hit “Moonstruck” all the way back in 1987 — more “proof.”

The seller is so confident that the person in the photo is Cage that he said: “Any serious potential buyer will be allowed to have a photo expert of their choice examine the original photograph before any money changes hands.” The photo was offered at a price of $1 million, but it has since been removed.

Unfortunately, there’s one small problem with this bold claim. Vampire experts have been buzzing since the news about Mr. Vampire Cage broke — because a vampire cannot be photographed!

Makes you think though. Have you ever seen Nicolas Cage during the day or admiring his reflection in the mirror?

It's been said before and it's being said again .. Nessie is alive under the waves of Loch Ness.
Once more the notoriously shy Loch Ness monster has been reportedly sighted in Scotland's deepest loch. This time close to a commercial fish farm.
Jon Rowe, from nearby Lewiston in Drumnadrochit, took the eerie snaps moments before the mysterious shape slipped beneath the water.

And the stunned fish farmer is convinced that the shapes he saw in the morning light are Nessie.
He said: 'It was a very strange morning. It was misty with a bit of rain and sunny at the same time.
'There was a rainbow so I got my camera out to take a photo and noticed this really large dark shape in the loch with two humps that were barely out of the water.
'My instant reaction was "That's Nessie"

A seemingly intoxicated moose has been discovered entangled in an apple tree by a stunned Swede.

Per Johansson, 45, says he heard a roar from his vacationing neighbor's garden in southwestern Sweden late Tuesday and went to have a look. There, he found a female moose kicking about in the tree. The animal was likely drunk from eating fermented apples.

With the help of police and rescue services, Johansson later managed to set the moose free in part by sawing off tree branches.

But the animal appeared confused and wandered into Johansson's garden, where she was still resting Thursday.

Other neighbors in the Goteborg suburb Saro had seen the animal sneaking around the area for days. Johansson said the moose appeared to be sick, drunk, or "half-stupid."

The frightened Friesian has written off Robert's Citroen C5 after denting the bonnet and breaking a wheel after bounding onto the busy road.

Stunned police later breath-tested Robert after he called 999 to report the collision.

It is understood the cow which died at the scene had been trying to escape from a farmer when it jumped into the road on the outskirts of Leek, Staffs.

Robert escaped with cuts and bruises despite skidding almost 80 yards and ending up on the wrong side of the road as he tried to stop.

The 24-year-old said: "I am now looking out for low-flying cows when I am driving ."

Safety officer Robert, of Barlaston, Staffs, said: "I was driving along when a cow jumped out and landed on my bonnet.

"It had hurdled a three-foot high fence and hit the front of my car.

"I had no time to brake and my car veered to the other side of the road.

"I was very lucky that nothing was coming in the opposite direction.

"The police were very nice about everything, although I don't think they could quite believe it either.

"They breath-tested me which came back negative."

If you're travelling around China don't be alarmed if you see rocket launchers or anti-tank guns being fired toward the sky by farmers - they're just trying to make some rain.

Cloud seeding was implemented ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and is part of China's Weather Modification Program.

An army of people have been trained to use 37-millimeter anti-aircraft guns and rocket launchers in a bid to 'seed' clouds and create much needed rain across drought affected areas.

The rockets used are fitted with a pay-load that includes silver iodide or dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) and when they hit explode condense the air and create water heavy clouds.
